Information about obtaining tunes that are not on our tune list: We often get requests for tunes that are not on our "tunes list". There are tunes available that we don't have in stock but often we get requests for songs that are not yet made in music box movements. It is possible to get a tune made into a music box movement. See the steps required below: 1. You must get a copyright license approval from the copyright holder. In order to get copyright approval you will need to know the artist. You may check the following databases to find it.
ASCAP: 2. Provide a musical score annotated with the 11-13 seconds of music you desire and provide a recording of said music. 3. For assistance in sending the musical score with $400.00 to Sankyo in Japan call 1-888-711-4646. Sankyo will provide a movement version for your approval. 4. Once you approve the arrangement you may be obligated to buy 2000 pieces of an 18 note movement at about 2.00 each. 18 Note Tune List
